A residency project with Miriam Del Seppia, Angela Grigolato, and Valeria Moro,
Paviljoen aan het Water, Rotterdam, NL
2024

During our residency our focus was on the outcomes stemming from the project of collective translation into Italian, of Ursula Le Guin’s text, The Carrier Bag Project of Theory. This period was dedicated to refining the translation and experimenting with the text, molding it into new forms that could serve as a vessel for collaborative thinking.

The results of our work were shared with the pub- lic, creating a platform for engagement and dis- course. This public dimension facilitated a dynamic exchange of ideas, transforming our exploratio of into a collective endeavor that transcended the boundaries of our residency and the translated text. It provided a space for exploration and conversations around themes such as the co-creation of knowledge, access to ideas, contextual limitations, gender within the logic of languages, and collective narratives—themes that mirror the content of the text itself.
